Kindergarten Orientation Days
August 18,19, and 20 
Letters will be mailed home with the date you and your child should attend.

2021-2022 School Year

What you will need to register:
  • Child's birth certificate (Kindergarten students must turn 5 by 9/30/21 to register)
  • Child's immunization record
  • Proof of residence- must include recent date, residential parent's name. (examples: utility bill, pay stub, rental agreement, tax bill)
  • Photo ID of parent/guardian
  • Custody papers if applicable
Register your student using Fairless Local School's online registration system, Final Forms. 

*Kindergarten screenings were held in May. 
There will be no August screening, but your child will be assessed at the beginning of the school year. A packet will be sent home with information about Kindergarten and the start of the year. 

Your child's registration is not complete until all of the required documents are uploaded.

A Note About School Treats
Parents are still welcome to send or bring in treats for their child's class this year, however, please be sure that all treats are prepackaged from the manufacture. We are sorry, but we cannot accept bakery boxed cupcakes or cookies such as those from Walmart. Prepackaged treats such as Little Debbie, Hostess, granola bars, individual bags of chips or crackers, etc. are acceptable. 




If you are having issues with Chromebooks or logging into devices you are using at home you can email Tech Support for help and please patiently wait for a reply.

OTHER QUESTIONS?
Our school offices may not have the same operating hours everyday during this time of closure due to the Coronavirus.  You can click on this helpline link or email to falconhelpline@fairless.sparcc.org and send the Fairless administrative team an email with your questions.  One of our team members will respond with an answer.



2020-2021Teachers will send home information about Dojo. 
Be sure you are on your teachers' Class Dojo to send and receive messages to/from your child's teacher. 


Dolly Parton Imagination Library 
Coming to Fairless
The Fairless Alumni Association & Fairless Helping Fairless have partnered with the Stark County and Massillon Public Library to bring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to Fairless Local Schools. This program provides children ages birth to 5 years old with a book mailed to their home each month. The cost of the program will paid by the Fairless Alumni Association & Fairless Helping Fairless. To register, please fill out the form below and either mail to the Stark County Library OR drop off at the Fairless Elementary School office.

What is Artsonia and why you should try it!

It's a FREE online art museum for your child. (there's a free app too! Note: If you do not sign-up and give your child permission, they are not able to view their artwork online. (contact Mrs. Best)

You have the option of ordering gifts (ornaments, jewelry, aprons, hats, etc....) of your child's artwork to share with family and friends! 

NOTE: OUR SCHOOL RECEIVE 20% PROFIT IN ART MATERIALS/SUPPLIES FROM THE SALES! So it's like a little fundraiser for art class! Last year OUR SCHOOL RECEIVED almost $700 for more art supplies!

The kids will accumulate a portfolio of their artwork to share with others. You are able to "follow" your artist as well, so you will know when a new piece of artwork has been added. You can also share with family members so they can be part of your artist's Artsonia Fan Club!

Random artisits are chosen every week, in which votes can be placed for that artwork. If a child from our school wins votes, the school can earn money and Mrs. Best believes the student wins something as well.

Attention FES Parents..
•When dropping students off in the
morning, please be sure they are ready to go as we cannot have the flow of traffic backed up. 
•Students should not be dropped off before 8:45am
•Students arriving at 9:00am or after need to be signed in at the kiosk.

Parent Pick-up: 
Afternoon Preschool students circle 3:15pm
K-2 and older siblings in bus lot beginning at 3:20pm
3-5 in staff lot beginning at 3:20pm
Bus Students:
Start dismissing at 3:30pm

PARENT PICKUP Parents..
PLEASE WRITE NOTES!
When your child normally rides the bus and is going to be Parent pick-up, PLEASE send a note for the teacher in the morning. This will help avoid unnecessary interruptions to the classrooms with phone calls from the office. If there is an emergency and the decision for parent pick-up is not made until later in the day, you may be asked to come into the office to pick up your child. This is for the safety of your children as well as  orderly dismissals. If a call about a change in transportation must be made, PLEASE call the school office BY 1:00 p.m.

K-2 students are picked up AT THE SIDEWALK to the left side of the building (library side) Park in the lot and WALK UP TO THE SIDEWALK to pick up your child.
3-5 students are picked up along the sidewalk to the right side of the building where the staff park. Pull into the line using the last entrance (marked deliveries) and wait in line as parents pull along the sidewalk and pick up their children. 
                                                       

Breakfast is served at school on school days beginning at 8:50am. As of  September 10, 2020, all students are able to receive free breakfast and lunch through a government grant. This grant has been extended until the end of 2020-21 school year or until funds run out.

Absences 
Parent/legal guardian must report student absences by phone between 8:15am and 9:00am. Please send an excuse with your child when he/she returns to school.
